We Offer Several Grooming Service Options for Your Pampered Pooch
Kennel baths are available for SHORT HAIRED, SINGLE COATED DOGS ONLY that are in-house for either daycare or boarding. This consists of 2 baths (more if needed), a facial with a special face wash, toe nail clip and grind and fluff dried by hand. A kennel bath does not include de-shedding.
FULL GROOM (SHORT HAIR):
For our shorter haired dogs who do not require a hair cut, a full groom consists of 2 baths (more if needed), a facial with a special face wash, toe nail clip and grind and fluff dried by hand. We also de-shed (remove any excess under coat) using the proper tools and methods for each dog’s hair type. We will trim any hair between their paw pads as well to avoid any slipping and sliding on hard floors.
This program is for our shedding breed friends (and believe it or not, every dog sheds). Designed by Dina Perry herself, this is a maintenance program designed for double-coated dogs that helps eliminate pet hair in your home. The process is much like a Full Groom and includes a dietary supplement called TheraCoat to add to your dog’s food. (Dogs love the taste of TheraCoat!) Dogs must come in every 4 weeks for the program to be effective. Try this program for just a few treatments and you’ll never be tempted to “shave em bald” again!
FULL GROOM (LONG HAIR):
For our longer haired dogs, a full groom consists of 2 baths (more if needed), a facial with special face wash, toe nail clip and grind, any necessary de-shedding with the proper tools and methods for your specific dog, fluff dried by hand and then a hand scissored hair cut to your liking. (Please keep in mind that each individual dog’s hair type may differ, so what looks good on one Doodle for example, may not work on your Doodle’s hair type.)
Long haired dogs who ask for “just a bath” are also considered full grooms. In order to properly bathe a long haired or double coated dog, a groomer must remove any loose undercoat and fully brush a dog’s coat. This is a much more in depth and time consuming process than a kennel bath.
For our longer haired dogs who require full grooming every 4 to 8 weeks, a maintenance bath is scheduled 2 to 4 weeks after their groom in order to maintain a nice, non-matted coat. A maintenance bath includes 2 baths (more if needed), a facial with special face wash, toe nail clip and grind, de-shedding with the proper tools, fluff dried by hand and a full brush out. *The length of time needed between a Full Groom and a Maintenance Bath will depend on your dog and will be determined by your groomer.
*We do not shave dogs. If your pet is excessively matted or you wish for him to be shaved, we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate your grooming needs.
**Grooming is by appointment only Monday through Saturday. Appointments typically last 1-2 hours with some pups taking a little longer. Please call ahead or stop by our office to schedule your pet’s groom.
***Grooming prices vary depending on size, breed and coat condition.
